The best way to keep track of when each u-pick farm opens is to follow their social media pages. They are great about updating picking conditions and posting when they are picked out for the day.
Pro tip: go early in the day and bring water. It gets hot quickly as you pick. Most u-pick farms in Southern Oregon are more likely to be picked out the later in the day it is- especially on weekends.
We make a family tradition of taking our kid out to pick at the local u-pick farms each summer. It’s a classic photo every year of our child picking and eating the different fruits.
