We’ve put together a list of all the best u-pick farms in the Rogue valley. These farms allow you to come out and pick their crops during set hours, and pay for the produce by the pound.

In southern Oregon, we have a wide variety of fruits to pick during the summer months, and a few crops extend into the fall. U-pick farms in Southern Oregon include : u-pick strawberries, u-pick blackberries, u-pick raspberries, u-pick peaches, u-cherries, u-pick apples, and u-pick flowers. The best way to keep track of when each u-pick farm opens is to follow their social media pages. They are great about updating picking conditions and posting when they are picked out for the day.

Pro tip: go early in the day and bring water. It gets hot quickly as you pick. Most u-pick farms in Southern Oregon are more likely to be picked out the later in the day it is- especially on weekends.

We make a family tradition of taking our kid out to pick at the local u-pick farms each summer. It’s a classic photo every year of our child picking and eating the different fruits.
