Kid-friendly Places to Avoid Wildfire Smoke
Best indoor spots to take the family when it is smoky in the Rogue Valley
Fire Season in Southern Oregon is stressful- especially after the Almeda fire in 2020. It’s important to have a go bag ready once fire season begins, but it’s also helpful to have a solid plan on what to do with kids when the air quality isn’t healthy to be outdoors.
The Rogue Valley gets smoke from wildfires in California and from other parts of Oregon, and when it lingers it’s good to know some fun indoor places to take kids to play and avoid wildfire smoke.
I’ve pulled together a list of kid-friendly places to avoid wildfire smoke in Southern Oregon.
