The BEST July 4th Parades, Fireworks, and Celebrations in Southern Oregon for 2024
We’ve gathered the ULTIMATE LIST OF THE BEST JULY 4th PARADES, FIREWORKS, AND FOURTH OF JULY CELEBRATIONS IN THE ROGUE VALLEY FOR 2024! If you’re trying to find what’s happening in Southern Oregon for July 4th, you’re in the right place. Here are the best places to take your kids to enjoy the Fourth of July in the Rogue Valley this year.
Fourth of July Parades
Central Point Oregon has one of the largest Fourth of July Parades in Southern Oregon. Butte Falls, Eagle Point, Klamath Falls, and Ashland Oregon will also have 4th of July Parades. Get the details on parade routes, activity schedules, and start times on our EVENTS page.
Fourth of July Firework Shows
It’s not an Independence Day Celebration without the fireworks. The Rogue Valley has several Fireworks Shows planned.
Central Point has a family friendly gravel lot next to the Rogue Valley Family Fun Center set up for folks looking for a safe place to set off their own fireworks. They’ll even have the fire department onsite to help out. Lot opens at 7.
Matt’s Twin Creeks Fireworks show in Central Point will not be happening for 2024. This year, the only big firework display for Central Point will be At the Expo. Boomfest will begin at dusk at the Jackson County Fairgrounds.
Lake of the Woods will have a fireworks display over the lake at dusk.
Grants Pass 4th of July Celebration Fireworks show starts at 10pm at Reinhart Volunteer Park.
Fourth of July Events
Here’s the best kid friendly events happening for July 4th 2024.
Eagle Point is having a Star Spangled Everything Fair. The library will host lawn games from 9-1
Central Point starts their Freedom Festival with a Pancake Breakfast by the Crater Lake Council Boy Scouts at 7 at the Grange, the Run 4 Freedom 4k run, job or walk race begins at 7:30, and Parade begins at 9:30. Immediately following the parade, Freedom Festival continues at Pfaff Park with kids activities, food vendors, artisan booths, contests, and live music.
Grants Pass 4th of July Celebration and Food Truck Festival starts a 4pm at Reinhart Volunteer Park and is FREE. It includes bounce houses, face painting, aerial performances, art in the park, a classic car show, and live music concerts.
Gold Hill will have a Fourth of July BBQ FUN event at the Gold Hill Public Library 5-7pm. They’ll have BBQ, games, and music. Meals are $5.
Lake of the Woods and Roadsters will have a 4th of July celebration with activities including live music, food and drinks, and fireworks over the lake. 4-8pm
Ashland’s 4th of July Parade and Celebration consists of the parade that begins at Triangle Park at 10am, park booths and activities in Lithia Park following the parade and entertainment at the Bandshell in the afternoon. Ashland Parks & Recreation coordinates a run before the parade kicks off and the evening concludes with the American Band College “Ashland Pops!” concert at Ashland High School.
