Homeschool Groups & Resources in the Rogue Valley

One of the most frequent questions I receive is what homeschool groups are there in Southern Oregon and what resources are there for homeschooling my kids in the rogue valley. I’ve put together a list of Southern Oregon homeschool groups and other homeschooling resources to help other parents learn more about homeschooling in Medford, Oregon Grants Pass, Jacksonville, Central Point, Ashland, Eagle Point, and everywhere in between.

There are quite a few homeschooling groups in Southern Oregon. I’ll list each one below. Some are specific homeschooling groups for cities in the Rogue Valley while others apply to the entire Southern Oregon area.

Homeschooling has become increasingly popular the last few years as parents seek out alternative education options for their children. I hope this gives you a great start to begin or continue your homeschooling in the Rogue Valley.

This is a group for any homeschoolers in Southern Oregon. We agree on our love for our children and our commitment to homeschooling. Except for these, our most outstanding characteristic is our diversity. In terms of educational philosophy, we range from families who follow structured curriculums to unschoolers who are very unstructured and others whose philosophies are in between. Some of our members cherish deeply held religious beliefs. Some are not religious at all. Some families are homeschooling one or more children while other children in the same family may be attending school. We practice tolerance and inclusion for all.

The events for this group may be added by any member. How our group grows is by participating. You can do this by sharing posts about homeschool related topics, liking posts, sharing your experience and coming out to events to meet other homeschoolers. We would love to meet you and your family!
