The Best Farmers Markets in Southern Oregon

We’ve put together a list of all the BEST farmers markets in the Rogue valley. Grower’s and artisans markets are such a great place to take families to learn more about our community. You get to visit dozens of local farms and businesses all in one convenient spot.

You will find a huge array of locally grown fruits and vegetables throughout their growing seasons. Chances are you will also get to shop locally crafted goods from artisans in the community. Farmer’s markets in southern Oregon usually have prepared food including fresh breads and other baked goods, hot coffee, cold fruity drinks, and hopefully a yummy food truck or two to grab a meal while you shop. If you’re really lucky you can even find live music!

Each farmer’s market in southern Oregon has a different schedule. Some are morning markets, some are evening markets, some meet weekly and other meet on select days each month.

The best way to keep track of when each farmers market meets is to follow their social media pages. They are great about updating when their next event is, who their vendors are, and even what forms of payment they accept.

When you’re at the market, pay attention to the name of the vendors you frequent. A lot of these farms have farm stands you can shop directly which can be helpful on the weeks you can’t make it to market. Here is our list of the best farm stands in southern Oregon.

Pro tip: be sure to bring your own bags (a wagon is good too) and use cash when you can. The fees the apps charge really add up so cash helps them keep prices low.

Most of the best farmers markets in the Rogue Valley stock local fruits and vegetables. Some farmer’s markets also stock free range eggs, raw milk, honey, yogurt, meat like poultry, pork, & beef, and fresh baked goods like sourdough, granola, and cinnamon rolls.

Here is our Guide to the best farmers & crafter’s markets in Southern Oregon. Let us know if you see one we’ve missed so we can add it.
